Anna created the “I get to” theory while working with a therapist on cognitive reframing of personal narrative in order to rewire neural pathways, reduce stress and heal from past trauma. In layman’s terms, Anna worked on changing her brain and emotional responses by learning how to be a glass half full instead of glass half empty thinker. This resulted in a more joyful, purposeful, and productive way to live as well as better relationships with the people Anna loves. Each episode of the Reframe Podcast, told with humour and personal story examples will show how this theory can be easily applied to everyday life.
